As a Crisis Services Mental Health Therapist, you will work as a crisis team member to provide clinical decision-making assessment, including comprehensive evaluations, crisis intervention, consultation, and planning for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The goal is to intervene early to prevent exacerbation of symptoms, improve mental wellbeing, and build skills of adults, children, and families to reduce utilization when appropriate of higher levels of care or incarceration.

This position works in cooperation with internal Alluma departments and external agency programs to facilitate warm handoffs and coordination of the care of clients. Additionally, it provides pre-petition screenings for commitment hearings of clients with a mental health condition as needed. It may provide clinical supervision to internal or external non-professional individuals to grow and develop clinical skills and oversee services provided.

This role does not carry a client caseload beyond crisis intervention.

This position will also support other programs needing assistance completing comprehensive evaluations and making necessary referrals for ongoing support and services within Alluma or through external referrals. The goal is to promote timely access to care for clients seeking services.
