The Patient Access team will work together to provide direction of services needed, meeting directly with clients and their families, and working with an array of financial situations and special requirements. This function involves extensive use of the electronic health record with data entry accuracy. Within the team, Access Specialists will assist in multiple duties, including answering multi-line telephone system, registrations, insurance verification, referrals, scheduling, and financial counseling to clients and family members.
Each member of the team will assist one another in order for the team to function as a whole. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly, in a friendly manner, providing an in-depth knowledge of programs, services, and financial information with a wide-variety of both internal and external customers.
