Become a part of our team that makes a difference in people’s lives! Our agency is actively looking for a full-time Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT or LAMFT). Our team is full of passionate, trusted, and knowledgeable providers that supports the wellbeing of children and families in our region.

As a Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee, you will work with children, families, couples, and a team of providers, to improve their ability to prevent, identify, treat, and reduce the impact of mental health problems among children, families, and couples. This clinician will work with our youth and family team to coordinate care and services and has direct contact with children and family in the home, community, clinic or Telemedicine setting. Assessment and psychotherapy services will be delivered both individually and family-based. The position includes travel, and mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate.

Alluma offers clinical supervision to support your clinical dreams of becoming a Mental Health Professional. We offer board-certified supervisor in Marriage and Family Therapy.  We will also provide evidence-based training in family therapy, trauma approaches, and development in Early Childhood!

Requirements

  • Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college/university and to have obtained licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Candidates should be a fully licensed mental health professionals (LMFT) or Clinical Trainees (LAMFT) with a valid state of Minnesota/North Dakota license
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of family therapy services, community resources, comfort with fee collection at time of service, and previous experience with mental health documentation
  • Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Required experience with children, adolescents, couples, and families
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Access to a personal vehicle and the ability and willingness to use the vehicle in carrying out position responsibilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable under agency’s automobile insurance policy
  • Must pass criminal background study through DHS NetStudy 2.0
