24-hour support when help is needed most.

A mental health crisis can happen to anyone at any time. It’s important to be able to get help quickly. Much like emergency services at a hospital, Alluma’s crisis services are available all day, every day. A caring Alluma employee will help stabilize mental health emergencies and sudden traumas.

Support and Crisis Helpline

When you call our free 24/7 Support and Crisis Helpline at 800-282-5005, one of our caring crisis staff will provide support, screen for safety, stabilize a crisis, and provide appropriate referrals for callers experiencing a mental health crisis. All calls are free, confidential, and anonymous.

Mobile Crisis Response

Activated through our Crisis Helpline, Alluma’s Mobile Crisis Response Team can provide face-to-face crisis services, including assessment, intervention, and stabilization.

Our Mobile Crisis Response Team often works in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies and hospital emergency departments. Alluma partners with local law enforcement to respond to 911 calls involving an individual experiencing a mental health crisis.

Crisis Stabilization Unit

Alluma’s Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a two-bed unit available for adults who need a safe place to recover during a mental health crisis.

Crisis Stabilization Unit Services

  • 24-hour observation and supervision
  • Individualized crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization
  • Medication assessment and monitoring
  • Onsite sleeping, kitchen, and bathroom amenities
  • Access to additional mental health services such as case management, counseling, and skills building
  • Coordination with the referral source, health care partners, and family

Admission Criteria

  • Adults age 18+
  • Voluntarily agree to be admitted to CSU
  • Minimum of one overnight stay
  • Medically stable and non-aggressive
  • Resident of Kittson, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Polk or Red Lake County
