Virtual Visits

Connect with providers virtually.

Virtual visits are a convenient, secure way to meet online with your mental wellbeing or chemical health provider instead of physically coming to our office location. You’ll connect with your provider from the comfort of home, work, or any other place of your choice in Minnesota through Zoom. All you need is a webcam-enabled device.

Benefits of Virtual Visits

  • No transportation time or costs
  • Reduced time away from work or home
  • Convenience in scheduling
  • Better access to mental health care for clients in rural areas
  • Reduces the stigma barrier

Getting Started with Virtual Visits

You will receive an email or text with an invitation to your Zoom video visit appointment. The best way to access the meeting is to click on the link in your invitation. You can also go to zoom.us/join and enter the meeting ID and password.

When it’s time for your appointment, go to join.zoom.us or open the Zoom app and select “Join a Meeting.” Enter the meeting ID we provided and select an audio option. You will be in the virtual waiting room until the provider arrives and admits you into the session.

At the start of each session, the provider will ask you to verify your address, phone number, and location. If you are disconnected, the provider will restart the meeting and ask you to rejoin. If you’re disconnected a second time, the provider will call you to complete the appointment via telephone.

Prior to your virtual visit, please complete our intake paperwork.
